A full custom build-out of a second-floor commercial space on 5th Avenue in Park Slope, turned into a calm, beautifully finished wellness center — with custom faux windows that bring a sense of daylight into windowless treatment rooms.

The owner came to us with a very extensive build-out and a unique design full of custom details — on a tight timeline that was critical to opening her business.

The result
We completed the space within the agreed schedule — about two months from start to finish — at a price the owner called fair for the quality. Today every guest who walks through the door is wowed by the space.
Signature detail: faux windows
The treatment rooms sit behind solid walls with no windows at all. Instead of leaving them closed-in, we framed custom faux windows right into the blank walls — real frames and glass, lit from behind. With curtains drawn they read as real windows, so every room feels bright, open and calm. Every window you see in the treatment rooms is one we built.

Demolition & framing
March 2026Old ceilings opened up, damaged framing addressed and new metal-stud walls laid out for the treatment rooms.

April – May 2026Drywall and taping, the custom tiled shower, and framing the faux windows into the blank walls.
